It’s time to get frightened, the first official poster for American Horror Story: Cult has finally been released.
The official poster was shared on the FX horror series’ social media accounts on Thursday, July 27, alongside the caption, “Be of like mind. The official poster for #AHSCult is here” and features a woman with clown makeup. What’s more, the top half of her skull is removed, exposing a horrific nest of honey comb with bees crawling all over it.

The FX anthology series has also launched an interactive journey that will reveal news and clues about the Cult over the course of eight weeks, all leading up to the show’s Sept. 5 premiere.
Visit the show’s website (AHSCult.com) for information and clues which will be coming in the form of chats via Facebook Messenger, on the show’s social media platforms and through real-life activations.
“This provides us the opportunity to do something different and to have a long-form engagement with the viewers as we take them through this experience to premiere” – Jason Phipps, FX senior vp digital media marketing, told THR.

The seventh season of the FX horror anthology series will star newcomers such as Lena Dunham, Billy Eichner, and Billie Lourd as well as franchise veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.
American Horror Story: Cult premieres on FX on Tuesday, September 5, at 10 p.m. ET.
