What else do I need to know about Alexandra Stan?

She launched onto the music scene with “Mr Saxobeat”, but this was only her international debut single; she had previously released “Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)” in her home country, Romania. Her next single “Get Back (ASAP)” charted well globally, although received many comments of the similarity to “Mr Saxobeat”. She released her debut album in 2011 and 2012, titled “Saxobeats”, it charted moderately well all over the world. After a short hiatus, that had her in a legal battle against her ex-manager Marcel Prodan, which mainly involved domestic violence; she released her second album “Unlocked” with sensational lead single “Thanks For Leaving” which is lyrically about her former relationship with Marcel Prodan. Her third album, “Alesta”, was released in 2016, and has spawned many singles.

Fun Fact: She has collaborated with many singers including fellow Romanian superstar Inna, Daddy Yankee, Antonia, Carlprit, Follow Your Instinct, and many more. She also released her own clothes collection titled “Alesta X Bershka” in Japan.
