Freeform’s Baby Daddy will be hitting its centennial this spring and what better way to honor such an achievement than by some fresh ink that will last a lifetime?
The cast and crew of the hit sitcom gathered together on February 13 to celebrate the filming of their 100th episode at Broken Art Tattoo in Los Angeles where they all received permanent marks of the baby pin from the series’ logo.
“Tonight was a night we’ll never forget!” read the caption of a group photo posted on Baby Daddy’s official Instagram account. “These tattoos will always be a reminder of the laughs and memories we’ve shared making these past 100!”
The idea initially came from lead actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau, who plays the role of Ben Wheeler. The 26-year-old told EW that he was surprised by how quickly his fellow co-stars agreed to his proposal.
Tahj Mowry, portrayer of Ben’s best friend and roommate Teddy did not hesitate. “Obviously, we were all down, because it is a monumental, amazing feat in television to be able to have accomplished 100 episodes,” Mowry shared with the magazine. “So hell yeah, I want a tattoo.”
“When it became a reality, it just felt right,” added Melissa Peterman, whose character is the show’s lovable and sometimes-overbearing mother Bonnie. “We’re really tight, so I wanted a little piece of them, and now I’ll always have it.”
The season six premiere will pick up three months after its finale. Ben continues to hopelessly search for the mysterious Elle, who he believes is the woman of his dreams. Danny and Riley are getting used to their parent-to-be roles, while Bonnie strives to be involved. Tucker is back from L.A.; however, is remaining hush-hush when it comes to discussing what went down while on the West Coast.
Baby Daddy returns to Freeform on March 13 at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
