Bea Miller has just dropped the music video for her latest single “Yes Girl” and yes, we’re more than happy to finally be watching it. We’re not sure how long we’ve been waiting for this music video to arrive exactly, just that it feels like we’ve waited forever!
We’re thankful the wait is finally over but it was totally worth it, because the video is amazing!
Bea has said in countless interviews and on social media that the song means so much to her on a personal level. Lyrically and personally, the song represents someone who is done being controlled by other people and being told what to do. It’s time for them to stand up against the people that are giving them orders, and have a mind of their own.
“But I won’t be your yes girl, no, not anymore.”
We think that the message Bea is trying to spread is incredible, because unfortunately there are people out there who can’t think for themselves sometimes.
We love how she’s using many different platforms on social media and her music to spread this message that you are capable of being your own person.
We think it’s important that you should be able to make your own decisions and not feel like you’re being controlled. You should be the one that ultimately makes the decisions that benefit you and your future; others should not be making those decisions for you. They should not be controlling you.
It’s important to know that you can say “no” to things that you don’t agree with because your opinion matters.
Bea has poured her heart and soul into this music video; something that she strongly believes in.
She’s shown real passion and raw emotion in the video (and seeing her cry brought us to tears). She’s connecting her fans to something that means so much to her.
That to us, is incredibly special.
