Talk about a stacked, star-studded collaboration.
On Tuesday, we learned that Calvin Harris is teaming up with Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams and Young Thug for a new track titled “Heatstroke.” The Scottish DJ took to Instagram to share the cover art, as well as studio credits for the upcoming song.

There may not be a teaser included; however, the credit list discloses that the tune will consist of multiple instruments. Those include both a real and electric piano, a flexitone, a synthesizer and a 1965 Fender Stratocaster. With such stellar collaborators thrown into this musical mix, we are anticipating a soon-to-be summer hit.
“Heatstroke” follows Harris’ latest single “Slide” featuring Frank Ocean and Migos. “Slide,” which was released in February, shared a similar social media announcement, unveiling artwork and vocal appearances from A-list names.
Just one month prior, the 33-year-old spilled on Twitter that not only is more joyful music coming, he has a total of 10 songs slated to drop this year. Harris is straying away from traditional records and has not put out a full album since 2014’s Motion.
“I worked with the greatest artists of our generation !!!,” he added when discussing his latest projects. I’m in the mixing stage now. I listen back and can’t believe what we created… In 2017 I’m making music to make your soul happy !!!! Not feel good music. Feel INCREDIBLE music.”
A release date for “Heatstroke” has yet to be confirmed.
