It has only been a couple of weeks since country music duo Ward Thomas wrapped up their massive UK tour, but the 23-year-old twins are already in the midst of another live circuit touring schedule. This time with a host of summer festival performances lined-up around the UK and Europe.
They kicked-off their huge summer schedule with a stellar set at the Isle Of Wight Festival on Friday, June 9th on the Big Top Stage. Part of their set was shown on Sky Arts as part of their coverage of the popular music event.
And right through the summer the twin sisters who made history last year by becoming the first ever British country music act to score a number 1 album on the Official UK Album Chart with their sublime LP ‘Cartwheels‘, have a number of festivals pencilled in and the super busy sisters from Hampshire will also be supporting US country legend Miranda Lambert as part of her UK and European tour this August. But before their hectic schedule kicks into high gear again, Catherine and Lizzy are taking a well deserved holiday in France this week before returning to the stage on the 25th of this month at Glastonbury.
