The release date of Disney’s Descendants 2 is fast approaching and the excitement for the sequel to the original 2015 film keeps on building. On 21 July 2017 fans will be able to watch the film simultaneously on five different networks. These are Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC, Freeform, and Lifetime.
To help promote the film, an official lyric video for “What’s My Name” has been released. The song focuses around Uma (Ursula from The Little Mermaid’s daughter) who makes her debut in this film. China Anne McClain will play the part of Uma. She is best known for her roles in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and A.N.T Farm. As well as this, her co-stars Thomas Doherty (playing Captain Hook’s son Harry) and Dylan Playfair (playing Gaston’s son Gil) also feature on the track.

If this is not enough to keep you going until the film’s release there is also a behind the scenes video, as well as promotional posters.
The cast of the film (Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart and Cameron Boyce) have also done some promotional work. A few weeks ago they opened the Radio Disney Music Awards with the world premiere of “Ways To Be Wicked”. As well as this, they performed the track on Dancing With The Stars.
