If you’ve yet to hear of Cimo Fränkel, then we’re advising you to get him on your radar as soon as possible.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, Cimo is an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer, who’s already worked with a host of major names. He has previously collaborated with Far East Movement, he co-wrote Yellow Claw’s ‘Shotgun’, and sang on Armin Van Buuren’s ‘Strong Ones’. Most recently, he co-produced Cheat Codes and Kriss Kross Amsterdam’s global hit ‘Sex’.
Now, Cimo Fränkel is breaking out on his own, and is ready to make his individual mark on the music scene with his single ‘Occasional Love’. The track proves his versatility as an artist, as he makes the transition from electronic to a pop style. ‘Occasional Love’ is tinged with tropical and reggae vibes, allowing Cimo’s slick vocals to glide effortlessly over the track.
‘Occasional Love’ is already available on streaming platforms, however, Cimo has yet to release a music video for the song. Fear not – CelebMix has got you covered. Whilst we wait patiently for an official video, Cimo has a kaleidoscopic lyric video to share and we have the exclusive premiere of it right here at CelebMix!
As lyric videos go, it fits perfectly with the track itself. The fusion of different colours looks stunning and suits the tropical vibe of the song. The lyrics are also clearly printed in a funky white font, which makes learning this song off by heart an easy job.
