The First Official Teaser For The “Mean Girls” Musical Is Here And It’s So Fetch!

We had only just calmed down from hearing the news that, “Mean Girls,” was going to be heading to Broadway in 2018, when the forthcoming show’s official Twitter account sent our pulses racing again with the reveal of the very first teaser. That’s right… We now have our first insight into how the musical of our dreams will look and we absolutely love it.

Although the teaser is only thirty seconds long, it is everything we had hoped it would be but we’ll let you make up your own minds about it. You can check it out in all of its plastic glory right here:

Mean Girls - "Grool"

The teaser introduces the infamous “Plastics” who in the original movie were played by Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert. But in the musical version, the character of Regina will be portrayed by Taylor Louderman with the roles of Karen and Gretchen being portrayed by Kate Rockwell and Ashley Park respectively.

They have big shoes to fill since the original characters were so iconic but if this teaser is anything to go by then we think they will do an amazing job.
