A new musical based on the hit television show ‘Friends’ is set to open in New York.
Written by Bob and Tobly McSmith, “Friends! The Musical!” will open at the Triad Theatre this autumn.
Bob and Tobly have gained quite the reputation over the years for their work on parody musicals.
The duo are the geniuses behind off-Broadway hits “90210! The Musical”, “Katdashian! The Musical!”, and the Saved By The Bell parody “Bayside: The Musical!”.
“Friends! The Musical!” will no doubt follow the same formula and be just as much fun.
Little is known about the project, however song titles set to feature in the show have been revealed.
Check them out below:
- The Only Coffee Shop in New York City

We should note that the upcoming show is unofficial and hasn’t been endorsed by the original creators or any of the cast from the iconic ‘90s sitcom.
It has been 13 years since we said goodbye to ‘friends’ Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey.
The much loved television show ran for 10 seasons before ending in May 2004.
Rumours of a potential reunion show or movie have been rife ever since.
Tickets for “Friends! The Musical!” go on sale in June.
