It’s been announced that Gorillaz will release new music tonight (March 23rd).
Earlier this year the band, a collaborative project between Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, released their first new music in six years.
‘Hallelujah Money’ featuring Benjamin Clementine was released in the run up to Donald Trumps controversial inauguration.
BBC Radio 1 have announced on Twitter they will be debuting new Gorillaz music tonight on Mistajam’s show at 7.30pm.

A rumoured tracklist for the upcoming Gorillaz album leaked online last weekend.
According to sources Albarn and Hewlett have collaborated with De La Soul, Grace Jones, Vince Staples, Pusha T, and Ray BLK.
The bands fifth studio album will act as the follow up to 2011’s ‘The Fall’.
Speaking about the record late last year Damon said the new record would be “really fast”, adding “it’s got quite a lot of energy.”
