Chat show king Graham Norton has admitted he no longer uses his Twitter account saying he prefers Facebook.
The presenter who has hosted The Graham Norton Show from 2007, claimed that Twitter “is not a happy world”.
Graham has 1.2 million followers on the social media platform-but he says he has grown tired of hateful comments from Trolls.
Speaking about the issue on his Radio 2 show, the star said: “I prefer Facebook because I have real friends there who agree with me. But on Twitter, not so much,”
Norton also added: “I have kind of fallen out of love with Twitter. It’s not a happy world so I have left it.”
While the 53-year-old TV personality no longer tweets, his Twitter account @grahnort is still posting automated links to his regular column in the Telegraph. Graham Norton has not posted any messages himself since June 22nd.
This is not the first time Graham has spoken out about Trolls and bullies, last year the comic hit out at gay people who judge people for being camp, saying:
“I was just an effeminate little boy who turned into an effeminate man. And I think you still see little boys now and think, ‘Aw, he’s so going to be gay!’
“And that’s something that just seems to appear in nature, it just seems to happen.”
“I think it’s weird that there is a section of the gay community that then judges those little boys. All that kind of stuff is just heartbreaking.”
