HomeTown have just been announced to be performing at Junk Kouture’s Grand Finale. The fashion show will take place in Dublin at the 3Arena on Thursday 14th April, 2016.
The six-piece boyband have performed at the event twice before, last year in April in Dublin and earlier this year in Glasgow at The Royal Concert Hall.
The prestigious fashion show is a national competition that encourages young people in secondary education to create designs of wearable art from everyday junk that would generally be thrown away. Junk Kouture has been held for the past five years and has established itself as the premier recycled fashion competition for teenagers throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Over 1,150 designs were entered into this year’s Junk Kouture competition. The entries were whittled down to 320 which would go through to the regional finals that took place in different cities and towns across Ireland. Then finally, 320 became 80 that would compete in the Grand Final in Dublin on April 14th.
One of the four judges is HomeTown’s manager, that being Louis Walsh. The other judges are Lorna McGee, Rob Condon and Tracy Fahee.
There will opportunities to meet the band during the event. Doors will open at 3pm for fun and games in the foyer and the show will start at 7pm.
Tickets are available to purchase now on Ticketmaster so get yours before they go.
