Keke Palmer releases music video for “Wind Up”

On June 13th, Keke Palmer released the music video for her single “Wind Up”. The music video features rapper Quavo who wrote the song along with Palmer.

The banner at the beginning “Keke Talks, Light Worth Spreading” sets the tune for single. If you still haven’t got the cue, the statement on the banner is a modification of TED Talks’ tagline “Ideas worth spreading”.

Through this single, Keke Palmer takes listeners through a verbal journey where she tells them about the hardships she has faced throughout her life. She asks her bosses to ‘line-up’ and that she is no mood to bow down to failure.

“Wind-Up” has an upbeat tune that can make you leave your seat and groove to beats. The music video too is really well-choreographed. Palmer, along with the dancers, have shown some really good moves in the video.
