A week and a half ago, Leah McFall released her new single “Happy Human”; now she’s graced us all with an accompanying music video.
She was the girl who everyone thought was going to win the second series of The Voice UK; instead, she became the runner-up. Fast forward four years and Leah McFall has only started embarking on her career. Having released “Wolf Den” in September 2016, with “Happy Human” being the follow-up, as well as announcing a nationwide UK tour titled “‘Ink’ Tour”; Leah McFall is ready to immerse herself in the music industry.
With news of her new album being released on 27 March 2017, with the pre-order going live on Monday 6 March 2017; this music video for “Happy Human” is certainly giving her the promotion she deserves.
Watch Leah McFall’s “Happy Human” Music Video Here:
This noMSG-directed music video sees dancer Maria Wada perform her choreographed dance to this song. Interpreting “Happy Human” in an intricate dance; we watch Maria Wada form shapes and ooze intensity, clearly happy to be human, much like the song states.
Unfortunately, Leah McFall does not appear in the music video; however, Maria Wada brings all the emotion we need for the visual. Telling quite the story, from start to finish; the video works well next to previously released music video for “Wolf Den”.
As a collective, Leah McFall stuns us in both songs; her vocal brilliance is undeniable, taking every listener to a whole new place.
Both singles were released independently, so we assume that the album will also be independently released. However, considering she’s setting off on a UK tour, we have a feeling that Leah McFall has a strong mind on what she wants and how she’s going to achieve it.

Her ‘Ink’ Tour starts on 6 April 2017 and finishes on 17 April 2017. Tickets are available from her website. She will be calling at the following cities: Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester (Sold Out), London, Brighton, and Bristol. We suggest you buy tickets now, while they’re all still available; with one show already sold out, we expect more will follow.
Expect to see us at the Birmingham date; we cannot wait to hear “Wolf Den” and “Happy Human” sung live. But before her tour even begins; we know that come 27 March 2017, we’ll be playing her debut album on repeat.
