Ireland just announced their lineup for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. A franchise spin-off show, Can’t Stop Dancing will also be airing. The twelve-week show will begin its run on January 8th, 2017. The show will replace The Voice of Ireland after its five season run.
The line-up for the show has just been confirmed and after seeing the list, we are pretty excited!
Big Brother UK runner-up Hughie Maughan and footballer Aidan O’Mahony are also set to appear along with actress Aoibhin Garrihy, and RTE reporter Teresa, sports presenter Des Cahill and actress Denise McCormack. Model Thalia Heffernan, comedian Katherine Lynch and weight loss expert Eva Orsmond are the final additions. They join the previously announced comedian Des Bishop, and former Hometown singer Dayl Cronin.
Both the judges and professional dance partners are still to be revealed.
Former Westlife singer Nicky Bryne and television presenter Amanda Bryam were announced as hosts for Dancing with the Stars, and RTE presenter Blathnaid Treacy will be the host for the spin-off show, Can’t Stop Dancing.
