In October of this year, Celeb Mix secured an exclusive interview with rising star James King.
And now James is back with his new single ‘Neverland’.
The new single is produced by Paul Stanborough, who has worked with huge names including, Katie Melua, James Blunt, and Texas.
Since Moving to London from Yorkshire in early 2015, King has secured himself as one the rising stars of our future. The singer performed at the Sundown Festival in front of 30,000 people and also recorded with Reload Sessions and has just returned from the US, where he performed in New York and Nashville.
Talking about his new single ‘Neverland’, James said: “Neverland is about not wanting to grow up, about still having that child-like glint in your eyes through life – especially within relationships and friendships. Growing up we rely on certain things and people to be able to take on the world, and so I think perhaps we need to get away and rediscover our youth to help realise what is important in life and give us strength. To quote musician and poet Keaton Henson: Lets both reclaim our superpowers; the ones we all have and lose with our milk teeth. Its a dear song to me personally, and so I am excited to be able to finally share it with other people”.
