Little Mix to Collaborate with CNCO on ‘Reggaeton Lento’ Remix

After several rumours floating around online, today it has been officially confirmed that Little Mix will feature on a remix of ‘Reggaeton Lento’, a song by Latin pop boy band CNCO. A small teaser video was released alongside the announcement, featuring the two groups chatting over FaceTime and a short sample of the remixed song.

Fans are downright hyped about the news of a Little Mix and CNCO collaboration. Many are optimistic that the remix could climb the charts, and some are already anticipating the killer choreography that’s sure to go down in the music video. #ReggaetonLentoRemix has been trending worldwide on Twitter since the announcement earlier today. Here are what some fans had to say about this exciting news:

The news of this Spanglish collaboration also has some fans reminiscing of the last time Little Mix partnered with an international group. In 2015, they featured on the song ‘Dreamin’ Together’ by the J-pop girl group Flower. However, Little Mix sang primarily in English on that track, while it seems like they’re singing plenty of Spanish in ‘Reggaeton Lento’ from the teaser.

Many also view this collaboration as a step in the right direction for Little Mix to expand their tours to South America. In addition to North America, it is one of the places the group has yet to embark on a headline tour in.

The single release date was just confirmed to be Friday, August 18th. While you wait, check out the music video for the original version of ‘Reggaeton Lento’! It already has over one billion views on YouTube and the single has landed near the top of the charts in several countries.
