Last week, Little Mix scored their first number one album with Glory Days. Not only did it hit the top spot, but it also achieved the highest first week sales of a UK girl group since Spice Girls’ Spiceworld in 1997.
This week, the girls maintained the number one spot, racking up a further 57,000 sales. Nevertheless, they fought off some tough competition from Micheal Ball and Alfie Boe who were only 2,000 sales behind the girl group.
However, that is not it. Despite being released only 2 weeks ago, Glory Days has also been certified gold as it surpassed 100,000 sales.
If you haven’t heard the number one album yet, you can listen to it on Spotify here.
