After releasing his latest single “Slow Hands” earlier this month, Niall Horan has been busy travelling across the world to promote the new song. His latest stop has him in New York City, on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
As usual, the night started off with Jimmy Fallon’s monologue, but towards the end, he was interrupted by Niall, who urged Fallon to give the audience “what they want” – to see the late night host dancing. Horan suggested he dance Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” despite it being “5 years ago,” as Fallon says. Jimmy was at first hesitant, but agreed to do so for Red Nose Day. The One Direction singer then joined him.

After playing the first ever Tonight Show Musical Genre Challenge with actor and singer Jamie Foxx, Jimmy sat down with Niall and asked him about what it’s like being a solo artist. Niall said that although it’s been very different than being in One Direction, he’s still having so much fun.
Jimmy then brought out some of Niall’s childhood pictures and asked him about his musical influences growing up. Niall said that he loved listening to classic American rock music, especially the Eagles, who he saw in concert at the age of 4.
Niall then revealed that he met Eagles drummer Don Henley’s daughter at a One Direction concert and she introduced him to her father. Now, he keeps in close contact with Don Henley.
Horan closed the show with his latest single “Slow Hands.”
