The long-running Power Rangers franchise continues! The newest reboot comes out next year in 2017. Apart from the new pictures, fans also hope to get a trailer sometime next week at Comic Con.
The new movie reimagines the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show from the early 1990s. The new portraits shows that the five teenage rangers have the same names as the original rangers. However, the ethnicities of the rangers are different. The black and yellow rangers originally consisted of Black and Asian actors. The change is probably due to avoid any controversy.
The portraits show each of their characters individually, with a tint layer over their faces of their signature colors. The Power Rangers lightning bolt symbol is also on their pictures. Take a look at the new cast below!
Dacre Montgomery: The Red Ranger
Becky G: The Yellow Ranger
RJ Cyler: The Blue Ranger
Naomi Scott: The Pink Ranger
Ludi Lin: The Black Ranger
Elizabeth Banks will portray Rita, while Bryan Cranston will play Zordon.
Power Rangers will be in theaters on March 27, 2017. Will you be watching? Tweet us at @CelebMix.
