Did you miss day one of the finale of America’s Got Talent Season 11? Don’t worry we will recap everything that happened!

Sal Valentinetti: Suave Singer

The first act of the night was Sal Valentinetti with his cover of “Mack The Knife” by Bobby Darin. Mel B thought Sal “smashed” his performance and said that he exuded so much “personality and confidence.” Meanwhile, Howie called Sal’s performance “the epitome of show business.”

Sofie Dossi: Teen Contortionist

The second act of the night was Sofie Dossi. Mel B thought Sofie’s act was graceful and elegant, while Heidi felt mesmerized.

Linkin’ Bridge: Inspirational Quartet

Linkin’ Bridge was the third act of the night. Before their performance, a video clip showed the four men explaining that winning the show would change their lives. Performing for them is hope that their lives can improve, and that one day their children would be able to look up to them and call them “superstars.”

For their final performance, Linkin’ Bridge sang an emotional cover of “See You Again” that perfectly described their journey to America’s Got Talent. Simon said, “I absolutely loved that from beginning, middle, to end.” He also predicts that the group has a good chance of winning the whole show.

Laura Bretan: Teen Opera Singer

The fourth to perform was Laura Bretan. Laura looked stunning in an elegant white dress. Howie called Laura “perfect,” while Heidi said, “Tonight you look like a princess but you ruled the stage like a queen.” What a compliment!

The Clairvoyants: Mentalist Act

The Clairvoyants gave another mind-blowing performance as usual that left the judges in shock. Simon predicts that The Clairvoyants will have their own show in Las Vegas one day and Heidi agreed. Mel B added that each week, the duo has gotten scarier and better.

Brian Justin Crum: Singer Covers Michael Jackson

Before his performance, a video clip played that showed Brian getting emotional over his fans. Many people feel inspired by Brian and his story, and can relate to the bullying that he had to endure. As usual, Brian Justin Crum delivered a powerful performance. He sang a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Man In The Mirror.” Simon was very much impacted by the video clip shown earlier and said that he is inspired by Brian. Simon added that Brian is a “naturally brilliant performer.” Mel B said that the song choice was very risk, but it payed off because his performance was fantastic.

Tape Face: Mysterious Performer

Next to perform is the mysterious Tape Face. For his act, Tape Face included Mel B in a hilarious sketch. Simon thought it was both “weird” and “fantastic,” while Howie called it “amazing.” Tape Face’s performances are always tough to describe, so you just need to watch it yourself!

Viktor Kee: Juggling Artist

Next was Viktor Kee, who gave another mesmerizing performance. Simon thought it was “like watching a movie,” and Howie agreed calling his act “cinematic.” Mel B thought it was a “proper performance from start to end.”

Jon Dorenbos: Inspirational Magic Act

Jon Dorenbos was the next act of the night. His final performance was different from his past acts. Jon said that he treats each performance as if it were his first, meaning that he wants to make a lasting impression. Tonight, Jon successfully made it to America’s heart with his inspiring words. You need to see it for yourself!
