Review: Little Mix ‘Glory Days: The Platinum Edition’ New Tracks

We’ve had a few hours to try and get our heads around ‘Glory Days: The Platinum Edition’. Quite frankly, we cannot even begin to put into words how incredible the album is. Not only does it have some of our existing favourite tracks from the original ‘Glory Days’, but it now also features the amazing collaborations with artists such as Machine Gun Kelly and Stormzy, AND it features three new original tracks. We are IN LOVE with the new tracks!

It can be said that once again Little Mix – made up of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – have created a masterpiece. Keep reading to check out our review of the new tracks that feature on the album!

‘If I Get My Way’

This track is quite a different musical sound for Little Mix, but it completely works for them. Each new track on this album is different in its own way. Without a doubt, this track will have you singing along to the catchy beat – especially on the chorus. In the bridge section of the track, each member has the opportunity to showcase their vocals, and it makes for an overall brilliant track!

‘Is Your Love Enough?’

This is the sort of track that has you cannot resist getting up and dancing around to. ‘Is Your Love Enough?’ has been described as a mix between ‘Touch’ and the remix of latest single ‘Reggaetón Lento’ – and we couldn’t agree more. Just like all the new tracks on the album, we can’t wait to hear this track performed live!

‘Dear Lover’

Once again, this is another upbeat and catchy track, which we absolutely love. The sound in this track is quite unusual and different, which truly makes it stand out among the new tracks. We love this track, and with its cleverly thought out lyrics, it nicely rounds up the new tracks debuted on this album.

The band also released a behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot for the album on to their official YouTube channel, which you can watch below:
