It may have been the last date of his debut headline solo tour, but Ryan Lawrie – who came sixth place on ‘The X Factor’ in 2016 – did not disappoint his legion of Belfast fans!
There were three support acts: Kris Evans, Josh Taylor and Michael Sutthakorn.
First on stage was Kris Evans, who really got the crowd going. The profits from his single N.U.M.B. will be going to the ‘Manchester Evening News Fund,’ which will provide assistance to those affected in Manchester. The single can be bought on iTunes here.
Josh Taylor was next on stage, and he never fails to get a crowd going, putting on an incredible performance. He performed some of his new songs such as ‘Only Young’ however, also featured some of his older songs including ‘Back To Bed’ and ‘Feeling Stronger.’
Michael Sutthakorn was the final support act. His set featured covers of popular tracks such as ‘This Is What You Came For’ and ‘Say You Won’t Let Go.’ Such tracks provided him with the opportunity to showcase his incredible vocal abilities.
It was then time for Ryan to take to the stage. He began his set with a cover of ‘Perfect Strangers.’ Throughout his set, he performed a mixture of songs from his time on ‘The X Factor’ – such as ‘Twist and Shout’ and ‘Play That Funky Music’ and some of his original songs including ‘If Only’ and ‘You’re Free.’
His set allowed him to demonstrate his versatility as a unique singer-songwriter and performer. Ryan had the crowd singing and dancing along throughout his performance, and he thanked everyone who had come to see him.
