TV star, Richard Hammond – mostly known for being an ex-presenter of Top Gear – has been airlifted to hospital whilst being involved in a crash in Switzerland.
Hammond was out in Switzerland filming the show The Grand Tour which is on Amazon Prime. A statement has been released by the show saying that Hammond had fractured his knee in the crash whilst completing the Hemberg Hill Climb.
Jeremy Clarkson has tweeted that Hammond is ‘mostly OK’ and that it was the ‘biggest crash’ he’d ever seen.
It was the biggest crash I've ever seen and the most frightening but incredibly, and thankfully, Richard seems to be mostly OK.
