The Queen of country music Shania Twain celebrated her 52nd birthday in style yesterday (August 28h) with a showstopping performance at the opening ceremony of the 2017 US Open in New York City at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. The Canadian superstar who will return with her first album in fifteen years on September 29th; ‘Now‘, wowed the crowd with a selection of her greatest and newest hits.
Wearing a stunning plunging black gown with thigh splits that emphasised her enviable figure, Twain opened with her massive hit ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much‘, before belting out her new singles ‘Life’s About To Get Good‘ and ‘Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed‘, the blonde beauty then brought things down a notch with a snippet performance of fan favourite ‘You’re Still The One‘, before ending with the crowd-pleaser ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman‘.
Shania Twain’s incredible live performance proved once and for all that her voice problems are firmly behind her as her vocals sounded strong and clear. It also gave fans a taste of what they can expect from her 2018 tour. Tickets for which are on sale now!
