The BRIT Awards took place this past evening, hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Emma Willis. As with previous years, the show was streamed live on YouTube for viewers around the world to tune in. The livestream was hosted by British YouTube star Caspar Lee, who also did some fun red-carpet interviews with BRIT nominated acts.
The two and a half hour long show was a tribute to another year of amazing music in Britain. As usual, there was a star-studded lineup of performers- including the likes of Little Mix, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, and The 1975. Additionally, The Chainsmokers and Coldplay premiered their new single ‘Something Just Like This’.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin performed a heart-warming tribute to the late George Michaels, and the show also honoured many of the other legendary artists we lost in the past year. The show closed out with an extravagant performance by the lovely Robbie Williams- one of three people to ever receive the BRITs Icon Award.
Without further ado, here is a full list of all of the BRITs Award winners for 2017!
