Tom Holland Rightfully Wins EE’s Rising Star Award at the BAFTAs

After all, he is Spider-Man.

Tom Holland, known for his role as Lucas in The Impossible and his upcoming debut as Spider-Man, snagged the EE Rising Star Award at this year’s BAFTA awards.

The Daily Star posted a video of Tom Holland following his acceptance speech at the BAFTA awards where he admits – again – that Spider-Man has been his dream role since childhood.

I’m just the lucky shit that got to do it.

Sony and Marvel has made a great casting choice because Holland had already proved to be an excellent Peter Parker.

He dropped a lot of jokes upon accepting his award and during the interviews, claiming that you’ll most likely find him sitting for the rest of the evening because of all the Spider-Man poses he had to hold.

Much to fans’ delight, he also ran into Andrew Garfield, the previous star of the Marvel franchise, on the red carpet.

Congratulations to Tom Holland for his well-deserved award, and we at CelebMix cannot wait to see what else 2017 has in store for him.

Make sure you buy tickets to see Spider-Man: Homecoming coming out on July 7th.
