The Voice has officially ended its run on BBC One and from 2017, the show will air on ITV.
The move was arguably surprising considering its lowering ratings. However, the channel seems very confident the show will be a success.
And along with this exciting transition, comes a revamped show to win back the millions of viewers it had back in its premiere year in 2012.
Whether it’s new coaches or even presenters. We don’t know. Yet. But finally ITV have announced the first change to the show, which will affect the audition stage, in a posted invitation which revealed that for the first time in the shows history, they will allow trios to audition.
Up until now, only solo singers and duets could audition on the singing competition, and this move could could get very interesting.
In the past duets haven’t done so well on the show but are trios the key to success.
Despite the change, the show still doesn’t allow groups of more than Three members, and hopefully this will change in the shows foreseeable future.
