Ward Thomas Open Up About New Tour During Facebook Live Session

British country music duo Ward Thomas will embark on their 22-date tour around the UK next week kicking off at the G LIve in Guildford on April 28th. During the live shows the 23-year-old twin sisters who last year became the very first Brit country act to score a number 1 LP on the Official UK Album Chart with their second release ‘Cartwheels‘, will visit other cities including Cardiff, Birmingham, London and many more.

Now the twins have confirmed that fans can expect to hear some brand new material during the eagerly anticipated tour. The news was confirmed on Facebook during Ward Thomas’ Live Session on Dan Wootton from the Sun Newspaper’s official page.

During the session the sister’s performed their number 1 country hit ‘Carry You Home‘, their cover of Years and Years’ ‘Shine‘, and their brand new single ‘Material‘. All of which were lapped up by the viewers who raved about their sibling harmonies.

After their live performance ended the girls answered a select few questions one of which was “Are you planning on premiering any new music during your #CartwheelsTour2017?” which was asked on Twitter. Answering the question Catherine and Lizzy confirmed that they will be singing new tracks one of which is titled ‘I Believe In You’ on tour and are also writing more new songs at the moment so fans can expect to hear some of those as well. The duo will also be singing some tracks off their new covers EP ‘A Shorter Story‘.

You can now re-watch Ward Thomas’ Live Session over on Dan Wootton’s Facebook page.

Tickets for Ward Thomas’ April and May tour are on sale now! It has also been announced that fellow Brit country music band Wildwood Kin will be supporting the girls during the tour.
