Cow Chop is James Wilson’s (UberHaxorNova) and Aleksandr Marchant’s (ImmortalHD) co-op gaming channel that joined YouTube on the 29th February 2016. They’re a part of the Rooster Teeth Let’s Play Family. The Cow Chop team is made up of James and Aleks, along with the channel’s editors and an executive producer who are sometimes featured in the videos. Their first video was uploaded on the 1st April 2016 as a way of introducing the new channel. The name is a play on the words “couch co-op”. The description of their YouTube channel is “Couch Co-op. Couch Op. Cow Op. Cow Chop. Cow+Knife = Cow Chop ??”. Although the channel’s main focus is co-op gaming, they also upload behind the scenes videos, sketches and non-gaming series. These include series like Amazon Prime Time and Wrong Side of YouTube, while gaming series includes the likes of Heavy Rain and Overcooked. In September 2016, the channel surpassed the 500,000 subscriber mark.
