American actor Zac Efron and his brother Dylan visited children in Los Angeles’ Children’s Hospital on Friday to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.
Tweeting an adorable photo with one of the hospital’s patients, Zac said that he visited the hospital to learn about “the amazing work they do.”

Zac also updated his Instagram followers on his visit to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, adding photos with patients to his Instagram story.
Speaking about the day, Zac wrote on Instagram: “I had an incredible visit @ChildrensLA pediatric cancer research program, they are at the forefront of groundbreaking research that saves the lives of kids diagnosed with cancer.”
He added: “Every dollar is so important– join me in helping these amazing doctors, researchers and brave kids battling cancer. Donation link in bio.”
Dylan Efron also took to Instagram to announce that the brothers will be racing the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on 16th and 17th September to fundraise for cancer research at the Children’s Hospital.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a non-profit hospital which “relies on the generosity of philanthropists in the community to support compassionate patient care.”
As well as no doubt putting a smile on kids’ faces, Zac and Dylan’s visit helped to raise awareness and vital funds for pediatric cancer research, which the hospital publicly thanked the brothers for.

Some of Zac’s famous friends also took to social media to show their support for Zac’s philanthropic efforts. Zac’s Instagram followers were quick to spot comments from both Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Bart Johnson, who played Coach Bolton alongside Zac in the High School Musical series.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles are holding the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on 16th and 17th September. They have already raised $1,091,855 of their $1,000,000 goal.
