    58th Grammy Awards: Who won what?

    The 58th Grammy Awards premiered last night. In case you weren’t able to watch it, here’s the major events that you missed, which everyone will be talking about.

    The show opened with Taylor Swift singing her chart smashing single ‘Out of the Woods’. Through out the entire show, there were iconic performances from artists such as Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt, Andra Day and Ellie Goulding, Little Big Town, and many more.

    John Legend, Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Meghan Trainor and Tyrice paid tribute to Lionel Richie. The Eagles also sang a tribute to their former member Glenn Frey. Adele performed a touching song from her new album that had everyone blessed by her outstanding vocals. Justin Bieber teamed up with Skrillex and Diplo to mash up Love Yourself and Where Are Ü Now to wow the crowd whilst Lady Gaga’s emotional tribute performance for her idol, the late David Bowie, was moving and unforgettable. Chris Stapleton performed a tribute to the iconic B.B. King.

    History was also made at the Grammy’s when they showed the opening number of the popular play ‘Hamilton’, which also won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater.

    Skrillex And Diplo Present Jack Ü (Skrillex and Diplo) – Best Dance/Electronic Album

    Don’t Wanna Fight (Alabama Shakes) – Best Rock Performance & Best Rock Song

    Drones (Muse) – Best Rock Album

    Sound & Color (Alabama Shakes) – Best Alternative Music Album

    Earned It (The Weeknd) – Best R&B Performance

    Beauty Behind the Madness (The Weeknd) – Best Urban Contemporary Album

    Alright (Kendrick Lamar) – Best Rap Performance & Best Rap Song

    Girl Crush (Little Big Town) – Best Country Duo/Group Performance & Best Country Song

    Meghan Trainor – Best New Artist

    1989 (Taylor Swift) – Album of the Year

    Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars) – Record of the Year
