ALMA announces new single ‘When I Die’

Pop rule-breaker and electronic powerhouse ALMA has announced her first single of 2019, ‘When I Die’.

Ahead of the release of her hotly anticipated debut album this year, ALMA has teased a clip and visuals of upcoming single ‘When I Die’. After posing a series of skeleton-themed visuals on her Instagram, the singer announced the title of the new track on Friday.

Following latest romp of a single, ‘Cowboy‘, released last year, ‘When I Die’ points to another change in sound from the versatile Finnish star. Heavy guitar riffs and distorted vocals feature on the short clip shared today, ALMA’s middle-finger to pop attitude clear to hear.

The singer has been working hard in the studio over the past months, adding the final touches to that debut album. Famed for her collaborations with the likes of Charli XCX, Tove Lo, Mø and Tove Styrke, fans are waiting with bated breath for the ‘Chasing Highs’-singer’s next move.

Last year ALMA travelled across the U.K. and U.S.A. on her own headline tours, supported Halsey at her phenomenal Eventim Apollo dates and released her debut mixtape, Heavy Rules Mixtape. Check out all ALMA got up to in our Year in Review.
