The twelfth series of The Apprentice is set to begin in October, boss Lord Sugar has revealed.
The straight-talking businessman, who has hosted the show since its inception, gave a typically straight-talking answer to a question about its start date – tweeting the lone word “October”.

His ‘trusted advisors’ Karren Brady and Claude Littner will be in tow – with Littner earlier claiming he hopes to “do better than last time”. Famous for his honesty and harsh critique, perhaps we’ll see him on even more merciless form this time around.
Filming for the new series is believed to have taken place in May.
Candidates will hope they can replicate the success of recent winners, all of whom are running successful & expanding ventures with Lord Sugar. The include the plumbing installation firm ImpraGas (from 2015’s winner Joseph Valente) and cosmetics specialist Dr. Leah (from the 2013 champion Leah Totton).
