Ariana Grande Releases “thank u, next”

Just months after releasing her fourth studio album, Sweetener, Ariana Grande is back with a brand new single called, thank u, next.

Ariana surprised her fans with her new song on Saturday, November 3rd at 11:00pm, and this may be her most honest work yet. She speaks about her ex’s, even her most recent relationship with Saturday Night Live comedy star, Pete Davidson. They were engaged to be married but they called it off.

She also has a lyric that pays tribute to her ex, who has passed away, Mac Miller. The lyrics go:

Thought I’d end up with Sean
But it wasn’t a match
Wrote some songs about Ricky
Now I listen and laugh
Even almost got married
And for Pete, I’m so thankful
Wish I could say, “Thank you” to Malcolm
‘Cause he was an angel

If you haven’t heard the song yet, be sure to stream it on Spotify or you can purchase it on iTunes.

Ariana has kept in contact with her fans via Twitter, by quoting many fans’ tweets. Fans have been asking her questions about her brand new album, which is also set to be called thank u, next, and gave all the information she could. It seems as if Sweetener was only just released and now we are getting brand new music from Ariana, counting down the days to her fifth studio album. She also said that we should be getting a music video for Breathin soon.

There is no scheduled release date for the album yet as far as we know, but Ariana most likely has some tricks up her sleeves and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.
