Who are AWS?

AWS is a Hungarian metal and post-hardcore band formed in 2006 by Bence Brucker, Dániel Kökényes, Örs Siklósi, and Áron Veress.

They have already released three singles, three albums and seven video clips. Their music videos often have juxtapositions of images of violence and celebrities in order to bring light to problems that the world faces.

They will represent Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal with their song “Viszlát nyár” which translates to “Goodbye Summer” in English.

When are their birthdays?

Bence Brucker – 16th September 1990
Dániel Kökényes – 30th April 1991
Örs Siklósi – 2nd May 1992
Áron Veress – 6 September 1991
Soma Schiszler – Unknown

What is their most famous song?

Viszlát nyár

The song was released as a digital download on 21 October 2017 through EDGE Records. It was inspired by the death of lead singer Örs Siklósi’s father, with the lyrics depicting the struggle and thoughts of a dying man, along with Örs himself trying to process this loss. It carries an important message: we should pay more attention to our loved ones, as long as they’re alive, because life is short and we never know when any of them could pass.
