Multi-platinum artist and songwriter Bebe Rexha is BACK! She has announced her new album DIRTY BLONDE with a first-of-its-kind supercut – a high-octane, 4-minute mashup that merges 13 of her upcoming singles and corresponding video elements into one adrenaline-packed release.
The album sees Bebe partner with independent label EMPIRE, who are strongly championing the creative freedom behind this unique campaign. Straying away from the limitations of a traditional album rollout, Bebe is planning on delivering music in a format that feels immediate, disruptive, and completely on her terms whilst allowing her to connect with her fans.
Speaking about the album, Bebe said: “This next chapter is about creative freedom – trusting my instincts, trusting my voice, and finally doing things the way I’ve always wanted to. I’ve learned a lot, I’ve lived a lot, and I’m fully tuned into myself now. Following my gut has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career. This era is fearless, loud, and unapologetic – no filters, no limits. DIRTY BLONDE is me owning exactly who I am.”
Bebe has also released the first full length track from DIRTY BLONDE: ‘I Like You Better Than Me’. The track is a raw and emotionally sharp reflection on the omnipresent insecurity, brutal self-comparison, and pressure of existing in a competitive industry like Hollywood, particularly as a woman.
“I wrote this song because I know what it’s like to feel trapped by comparison and impossible expectations,” said Bebe. “This album is about transparency, being real and raw – that’s why I felt it was important to drop this one first. Through it, I hope to connect with anyone who’s ever felt less than enough and remind them they’re not alone. Struggling with these feelings doesn’t make you weak – it makes you human.”
The accompanying visual for ‘I Like You Better Than Me’ will be released on February 17, whilst fans can vote on which song Bebe will release next via her website.
DIRTY BLONDE is due for release on June 12.
