US-Albanian singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha is on a roll these last couple of months. First, she dropped her empowering anthem “The Way I Are” with Lil Wayne, then she premiered her highly-acclaimed collaboration with Louis Tomlinson. Now, we get even more good music.
The brand new track is titled “That’s It” and features guest verses from 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane. Otherwise known for her high-energy melodies, the singer decides to take a step back on this one. “That’s It” is trappy, chilled and draws its energy mainly from its lyrics.
The lyrics are a pleasure to listen to. It’s been a while since we heard Bebe that confident and we love it. During the track, the singer talks about multiple topics. First her success (“Diamonds drippin’ on my neck, I be saucy saucy“), her body (“You be lookin’ at my ass, damn that thing jurassic“) and her background (“Barbies from New York, I hail outta Brooklyn// That’s why all eyes on you, I see you lookin‘”). #ConfidenceGoals we call that.
Since apparently two famous guest rappers weren’t enough, Bebe also got Murda Beatz on the track. After handling the production on Zayn’s “I Got Time” and Nicki’s “No Frauds”, the producer can now put “That’s It” on his list of great accomplishments.
“That’s It” arrives as the second single taken from Bebe’s third EP “All Your Fault Part. 2”. The EP arrives August 3rd. Based on what we’ve heard so far, this one’s going to be even better than Part 1.
