Earlier this year, Big Sean officially cancelled his Unfriendly Reminder tour in favour of returning to the studio and working on the follow to his 2017 album I Decided, explaining that he was in a ‘deep creative space’ and wanted to remain ‘focused.’
Since the news, Sean Don has featured on tracks by Halsey and most notably YG’s star studded ‘Big Bank’ but there has been little news on his own new music that fans have eagerly been awaiting.
The rapper appear at London’s Wireless Festival.on Friday as part of a brief European trip and chatted to presenter Tim Westwood after his performance, revealing that the new stuff is ‘sounding great’ and that he has been recording in London.
Whilst Sean refused to divulge exact details on his forthcoming project, he admitted that the record had a theme and that he couldn’t wait to ‘surprise’ people and was going ‘harder than ever’.
Big Sean is one of our favourite rappers in the game. Not only does he provide anthems but we have so much love for the positivity and inspirational messages that he spreads in his music. We need more artists like him.
Whilst we wait on the new joint, check out ‘Big Bank’ by YG which not only features Big Sean but also 2 Chainz and Nicki Minaj.
