Scottish superstar DJ Calvin Harris is the latest artist confirmed to perform at the BRITs 2019.
Making his BRITs debut, Calvin’s performance is set to be one of the night’s biggest highlights as he will be joined by three very special guests: Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag’n’Bone Man.
Calvin and Dua’s global smash hit ‘One Kiss’ was one of the biggest songs of 2018, notching up eight weeks at number one. Their collaboration is also nominated for two BRIT Awards: British Single and British Artist Video of the Year.
The DJ followed up ‘One Kiss’ by teaming up with Sam Smith, who is nominated for British Male, for ‘Promises’. The track spent six weeks at number one in the U.K. Singles Chart. Calvin’s latest single is a collaboration with 2017 Critics’ Choice winner Rag’n’Bone Man called ‘Giant’.
Jason Iley, BRITs Chairman and Chairman and CEO of Sony Music UK & Ireland said: “I’m delighted that Calvin will be performing at the BRITs for the first time ever; he is a global superstar who has created some of the biggest hits with the biggest artists in the world. The stats say it all! He will be joined by a trio of incredible British talent – Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag‘n’Bone Man – each of whom are individually amazing performers and have been lighting up the UK charts. This will undoubtedly be one of the stand out moments of the night.”
Calvin and his special guests join the previously confirmed performers, George Ezra, Little Mix, Jorja Smith and The 1975.
The BRIT Awards take place on Wednesday 20th February at The O2 Arena, London, broadcast exclusively on ITV and hosted by Jack Whitehall.
