Kacey Musgraves completely took over the Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts, for another sold-out show.
The ‘High Horse’ singer was undeniably full of energy and happy to be performing for her loyal fans who covered every square inch of the venue to make it reach its capacity. By the third song, she was speaking to the crowd as if they were her best friends. Kacey’s connection to her fans and supporters made them feel feel mutually supported and appreciated. It was a night that definitely did not begin as a slow burn and her performance kept attendees out of their seats from start to finish.
The Oh What a World II tour was full of positive energy and covered almost every emotion that a human being experiences on a regular basis. Tracks like ‘Happy and Sad’ and ‘Family Is Family’ gave fans the opportunity to laugh, but more importantly, to think about the significant things in life. Kacey’s creatively unique lyrics are catchy and appeal to a large audience. In fact, the demographic at this particular show was rather impressive. People of all ages and from all different backgrounds decided to spend their Thursday night with the ‘Butterflies’ singer and get an early start to their weekend.
The stage production and direction that this show followed was impeccable. Between the lighting, stage design and changing backgrounds to fit the vibe of different tracks, fans were transported into another world for the duration of her performance. Kacey advised attendees to forget their worries and simply enjoy the show prior to getting into the bulk of her set and whether or not they took her advice, it was impossible to think about anything except what was going on in front of you on stage.
If concertgoers were not taken back by the production or Kacey’s iconic stage presence, the music could easily change their minds. Her band, full of talented musicians who effortlessly performed using several different instruments individually, captivated audience members in between sets and made sure that the music came to life on stage. Kacey’s vocals, of course, flawlessly accompanied them and were delicately powerful in typical Kacey Musgraves fashion.
The Grammy award winning star deserves another prestigious award for this tour. It is most definitely one to remember and not one that any fan of hers should miss if possible. Kacey makes sure that her fans know how much they are appreciated not only by her, but by the world in general. Her positive energy and attitude on stage is beyond inspiring and makes her concert experience a bit more unique than others. It was mutually exciting and fun experience for both the headliner and the audience which is unfortunately not always the case. Kacey Musgraves makes music because she loves it and she recognizes her power as a popular artist in a competitive industry. For those reasons and more, this tour is a must-see for any music fan or frequent concertgoer as well.
