Ever since his guest appearance on the X Factor Final, our love for Craig David has been heavily reignited. There is nothing quite like a bit of nostalgia to warm our hearts! Just when we thought we couldn’t love the guy any more, today he visited the Radio 1xtra studio and treated us to an extra special cover.
What better song to cover than the current UK number one? Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ has been dominating the charts for weeks, and now Craig’s put his own freestyle twist on the song of the moment.
Adding his own RnB/garage flavour to the song, Craig also showcased his phenomenal rapping skills with a verse that will blow your mind. His cover has been the talk of Twitter this evening, with the majority of people praising his incredible comeback.

Responsible for some of the noughties’ biggest hits, Craig has been fairly quiet in recent years, however, is ready to take the charts by storm once again when he releases his new album later this year. Whilst in the studio, he also performed his latest single, “When The Bassline Drops”.
Speaking to Trevor Nelson, Craig said: “The love from the country is overwhelming.” With timeless tracks such as “Fill Me In” and “7 Days” under his belt, there is no doubt that people still adore Craig David, and we’re SO glad that he’s finally back on the scene!
