Imagine Dragons vocalist Dan Reynolds has always been an ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and this weekend was no different.
The star hosted the second annual LOVELOUD Festival, inviting artists such as Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Linkin Park’s Mark Shinoda, Neon Trees’ Tyler Glenn, Grace Vanderwaal, and many more to perform on the stage. Also participating was Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, Jussie Smollett, Julianne Hough, Tegan Quin of Tegan and Sara and Mary Lambert.
The event, now in its second year, was held at the Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT, and designed to raise funds for LGBTQ+ youth around the country. Reynolds’ LOVELOUD mission has been well documented, with the singer releasing a film with HBO last month.
Held on Saturday, the event reached its goal of raising $1 million, which will go towards LGBTQ+ organizations, including the Trevor Project. We’re so proud of you, Dan!
