Since winning Love Island 2018, Dani Dyer has had her life turned upside down. She entered the villa looking for love, and left eight weeks later as the winner of the show with her new boyfriend Jack Fincham.
Now that Dani has left the villa, fans have been keen for a chance to meet the Love Island winner. However, it seems that she has disappointed supporters by supposedly missing some of her public appearances, with many messaging Dani exclaiming that they are upset with the situation.
Dani started to receive messages after Casino Nightclub in Guildford claimed that she had ‘pulled out’ of the appearance leaving her fellow islanders Georgia Steel and Alexandra Cane to complete the appearance without her.
Taking to her Instagram story, Dani has rubbished these claims and stated the real reason why she did not attend the public appearance. ‘I can promise hand on heart I haven’t confirmed any since I’ve been back from the villa! Would never want to let anyone down.’ She then continued to write; ‘So please I will only be attending public appearances that I have posted or spoken about.’
In the meantime, it was also reported that Dani had ‘cancelled’ her first Love Island appearance at Faces in Essex. The Love Island winner’s rep has released a statement claiming that Dani had never been booked at Faces to begin with. A spokesman from Faces claimed that ‘The appearance was never confirmed. They enquired about Dani but were told she wasn’t available.’
In Dani’s own words, she has not cancelled or missed any public appearances and will only be attending events that she has posted or spoken about. In order to avoid disappointment, keep your eyes peeled on her social media for her official public appearance dates.
