Caroline’s most recent release is the incredible ‘Masterpiece’, which features Jacob Whitesides. The song’s title fits the track perfectly, as it is indeed a work of art. Caroline’s haunting vocal works effortlessly with Jacob’s slick tone, creating something which is truly pleasing to the ear.
Talking about the inspiration behind the song, Caroline said that it “stemmed from my desire to break away from all of the molds people wanted to put me in. In the music industry and in every day life people will try to tell you who you should be. Music is all about expressing yourself and doing what makes you happy, so I wanted to write a song that let people know that it’s okay to be themselves! Everyone is a unique and beautiful masterpiece just the way they are!”
When asked about working with Jacob, Caroline described the experience as “incredible”. “He is such a talented artist, and I’ve always been a huge fan of his,” she said. “I knew his voice would be perfect for the song, and I was ecstatic when he agreed to work with me. He is so much fun, and we had a great time together on set. It was an awesome day!”
Having already shared the stage with the likes of Shawn Mendes and Kelsea Ballerini, Caroline is quickly proving to be the next big pop princess. However, as well as being an incredible talent, she is also wise beyond her young years. Alongside writing personal material, the songstress has worked hard to be a voice for those affected by bullying and has also partnered with PACER to address the important topic in the age of social media.
