DISCOVER: Live Lans’ follow-up single and video for “Whine”

Live Lans is back with a brand new song and a slick animated music video to accompany it. “Whine” is a dancehall/reggae song that has arrived just in time for the summer.

This song follows on from his previously released debut single, “She Likes”. He also released an 8-track mixtape last year titled “Someday You’ll Understand”. Now, Live Lans is splitting away from his usual tracks and is prepared to bring the summer sunshine your way.

“Whine” is an infectious song that we could totally hear played a lot this summer. We’ve already are planning to add this to our summer playlists, and we hope you will be doing that too.

The animation video was created by Motion Miami Visuals and contains a bright yellow background which exudes the summer sun. We watch as various animated women dance to this groovy beat, twerking, whining – just like the song, and generally dancing sexily; yet, the visuals are extremely basic, with much more focus on the flowery background which can only be seen due to the women’s legs; this is rather intricate, and adds an extra flavour to this summer sound.

It’s still clearly a Live Lans track, with definite hip-hop vibes heard throughout; yet, this change in musical direction, not only shows his versatility and capabilities, but, it also shows that he isn’t afraid to try new things and blur the lines between musical genres.

We truly believe that Live Lans has something special, and he’s certainly someone to keep your eyes on.
