Here at CelebMix, we’re forever falling in love with numerous pop/rock bands but we’ve always got room for another in our lives. If you’re a fan of All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy or Taking Back Sunday, then you’re going to love Count To Ten.
Count to Ten are a four-piece band made up of Jon Zaitz (Lead Vox), Dan Wolf (2nd Vox/Guitar), Alex DeSalvo (Guitar), and Dan Koshulsky (Drums). The band was initially formed by Zaitz, Wolf and DeSalvo following a personal tragedy with the loss of a high school friend. All three were exceptionally gifted musicians who decided to join forces to pay tribute to their late friend. Soon after, they met Koshulsky, who became a superb addition to the band.
Despite originally forming as a tribute to their friend, their potential was recognised by local club owners and booking agents, who lined up numerous performances for the band across Long Island and Manhattan. Count To Ten are considered Long Island road veterans, and have built up a great fanbase through shows such as The Paramount in Huntington, where they opened for Nine Days. The band were also hand-picked to perform at LI’s Great South Bay Music Festival where they opened up for Taking Back Sunday and Circa Survive.
They are currently managed by Airgo Entertainment which is headed by Music Industry veterans Jimmy Greco (Carlos Santana, Jennifer Lopez), Russ DeSalvo (Celine Dione, Lionel Richie) and Bill Porricelli (Paul Mccartney).
Later this month, Count To Ten will be releasing their debut single ‘Neck Deep’. To celebrate the occasion, the band will be having a single release party at Amityville Music Hall on October 23. It is sure to be a special show for the band and their fans – remaining tickets are available here.
