Swedish-Gambian singer-songwriter Seinabo Sey has released her new single ‘Good In You’, taken from her forthcoming album I’m A Dream.
Armed with an infectious groove, ‘Good In You’ is mid-tempo jam which showcases Seinabo’s soulful and powerful vocals. The track, which was added to Spotify’s prestigious New Music Friday on its day of release, has a real feel-good vibe and is the perfect addition to your end of Summer playlist.
Seinabo has also released a vertical lyric video for ‘Good In You’. The personal video matches the uplifting feel of the song perfectly as we are treated to what feels like Seinabo’s very own Snapchat story.

‘Good In You’ forms part of Seinabo’s forthcoming album I’m A Dream, which is due for release on September 7. The album will also include the previously released ‘I Owe You Nothing’, ‘Breathe’, and ‘Remember’ featuring Jacob Banks. The album is available to pre-order here.
I’m A Dream follows on from Seinabo’s previous album, the critically acclaimed Pretend, which earned her a Swedish Grammy Award for Best Newcomer and Best Pop. Whilst Pretend was an important album for Seinabo, I’m A Dream is truly set to show her growth as an artist and a person.
With themes such as womanhood, feminism, identity and body positivity, Seinabo has allowed the important issues she is vocal about to heavily influence her new body of work, making it a lot more authentic to her.
Speaking about her forthcoming album, Seinabo said: “This time around it felt really important to make the story that I’m telling directly, and very, personal. And every song represents a part of my life from the past year and a bit, more so than with Pretend.”
To coincide with the album’s release, Seinabo will be heading out on an European tour which includes a date at London’s The Courtyard and a show at the 12,000 capacity Ericsson Globe, Stockholm. Tickets for her London show go on sale on Friday (August 31).
