What is it?
Crisis in Six Scenes is an American television series written and directed by Woody Allen, the mastermind behind countless well-received films, including Radio Days and Midnight in Paris. This, however, will be his very first small-screen project.
When will it be out?
The show is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Instant Video on September 30. As of right now, Amazon has ordered one full season which is said to consist of six half-hour episodes.
What is it about?
According to Amazon, the series “is a comedy that takes place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States and a middle class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.”
Why should I watch it?
If you’re still not sold, this next bit of information will surely get you excited for the show: Elaine May, Miley Cyrus, and Woody Allen himself have leading roles in Crisis in Six Scenes.
